Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making coastalhaven.top usable by everyone, and how to report accessibility issues to us.

1. Our commitment

Coastal Haven Management LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We want everyone who visits coastalhaven.top — whether they are property owners, guests, or job applicants — to have a positive, barrier-free experience.

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website and welcome feedback from users who encounter any barriers.

2. Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

We assess our site regularly against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria. As of the "Last updated" date above, coastalhaven.top is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conformant" means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the standard, and we have identified the specific areas where we are working to improve (see Section 4).

3. What we've done

We have taken the following measures to support accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy.
  • Color contrast ratios meeting or exceeding WCAG 2.1 AA requirements for text and interactive elements.
  • Keyboard navigability across all interactive elements, including forms, modals, and the booking scheduler.
  • Focus indicators that are visible against both light and dark backgrounds.
  • ARIA labels and roles on custom components where native HTML semantics are not sufficient.
  • Form fields with associated <label> elements and descriptive placeholder text.
  • Alternative text on all meaningful images and icons.
  • Skip-to-content navigation for screen reader and keyboard users.
  • Language attribute declared on the <html> element to support assistive technology.
  • Modals that trap focus while open and return focus to the trigger on close.
  • Reduced reliance on animations that could trigger vestibular discomfort; animations are non-essential and content remains accessible without them.
  • Regular manual and automated accessibility testing.

4. Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist. Known areas we are actively working on:

  • Interactive maps — our office and coverage maps are provided by a third-party mapping service. Some screen reader users may find the map interaction challenging. Alternative text-based location information is available on our Contact page.
  • Dynamic content — some sections include content that updates in real time (for example, ticket feeds and counters). This content is decorative or illustrative, and no essential information is conveyed only through these elements.
  • Third-party content — embedded content from third parties (such as fonts, maps, and analytics) is beyond our direct control. We choose third parties with accessibility in mind, but cannot guarantee full conformance of their content.
  • PDF documents — some documents we link to may not be fully accessible. We can provide accessible versions on request.

5. Physical accessibility

Our office is located at 1688 Meridian Ave, Suite 600, Miami Beach, FL 33139. The building provides:

  • Elevator access to the sixth floor.
  • A wheelchair-accessible entrance from Meridian Avenue.
  • Accessible restrooms on the same floor as our office.
  • Metered parking on 17th Street and a public lot at 1755 Meridian Avenue.

  • The page or feature where you encountered the barrier.
  • A description of what you were trying to do.
  • The assistive technology or browser you are using.
  • Any other details that would help us reproduce the issue.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.

7. Enforcement and escalation

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility issue, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice or the Florida Commission on Human Relations. We are committed to working in good faith with anyone who raises an accessibility concern and to reaching a reasonable resolution.

8. Changes to this statement

We review this Accessibility Statement at least annually. When we make material changes, we will post the updated statement on this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top.
